Cancellation Policy

By booking an appointment with Redefine Counselling Services, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy. Please read this policy carefully. If you have any questions or concerns about our policy, please let us know before you book your first appointment with us. 

We understand that there are valid reasons for cancelling or rescheduling appointments. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible, as we require at least 24 hours’ notice in order to rearrange our schedule to accommodate another client on our wait list.

Failure to give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation, reschedule, or non-attendance for an appointment will result in you being billed for your full session charge. Cancellation fees will need to be paid in full before a new appointment can be made.

Waivers for cancellation fees may be considered for emergencies on a case-by-case basis only, and with supporting evidence, at our discretion. Please keep in mind that cancellations/reschedules which are regular and frequent will not be waived.

How to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

You can contact us by phone at any time, even after hours, and you can leave a voice message. Alternatively, you can email us or send us a text message. There are multiple options for you to notify us and the responsibility rests on you to ensure contact is made.

Redefine Counselling Services reserves the right to reschedule appointments at any time, without compensation, if it is deemed necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

What happens if a cancellation fee is not paid promptly?

If an outstanding cancellation fee is not paid promptly, we will be unable to continue providing you with the service. We also reserve the right to take any further reasonable action necessary to recover any unpaid fees and to bill you for any reasonable additional costs incurred in taking such action.
